Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi there crafters! Are you all ready for a new sketch challenge at Create a Smile Challenges? I hope you all love a good sketch as much as I do and see you there! I got inspired by Christine's fun sketch to create this cute card with the Easy Breezy stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I started my card with a white card base in A2 size. I then diecutted a piece of patterned paper with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle and used a craft knife to cute out windows from my paper. I blended the background on my card base with Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide ink and then added my front panel on to my card using dimensionals, creating a bit of depth between the card base and windows.

I then stamped the cutest snowmen ever from the Easy Breezy stamp set, fussy cutted these cuties and coloured them with Copic Markers. I hope the snowmen in the bath didn't use hot water, lol! I added these adorable guys to my card using dimensionals and added the text 'Snow-Up at my House Anytime!' to finish this fun card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile A Friendly Turn Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first Christmas card of the year post! I love creating Christmas cards, as soon as the first Christmas stamps hit the stores, you? I choose a slimline card for today and the stamp sets A Friendly Turn and Easy Breezy from Create a Smile Stamps!

As I said before, I just love slimline cards! You get such a fun layout on them! I started this slimline card with a white card base and added a front panel on which I created a fun scene! I started with stamping the gorgeous wheel from the A Friendly Turn set and masked this to be able to blend a background around it. I used the colours Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky and Peacock Feathers, all Distress Oxide inks from Ranger.

I then coloured the stamped wheel image and gave the inside blue colours, inspired by the gorgeous card Kaja Vezensek posted a while ago. I then added a snow underground, which I diecutted with the Mama Elephant Slim Card Basics dies. I stamped the text from the A Friendly Turn in the middle and add the three cute snowmen from the Easy Breazy stamp set. I added some stars and snow to my background to finish this card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
