Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today a new challenge starts at CAS on Friday Challenges! This weeks theme is to create a card in black and white and just add one colour! I think you can create so many different things with this theme, I can't wait to see what you will all create!

I created a gorgeous flower card for this fun theme, just using white cardstock, black ink and added Melon Mambo ink, a fun pink colour! I started by using a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I added a front panel, which I diecutted with a fun Wonky Stitched Rectangle die from Mft stamps. These are so fun to use! I love the stitched sides!

I then stamped the text 'Wishing You' and 'The Best Day Ever' using black and Melon Mambo ink, the last one is a Stampin' Up colour. The text comes from the stamp set Wishing You from Mama Elephant stamps, so pretty! I added some Nuvo Rhubard Crumble Drops, which matches the Melon Mambo colour almost exactly. I then stamped the gorgeous flowers from the Spring Daisy stamp set from Altenew, diecutted them and added them on to my card using dimensionals.
