Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Whales Card!

Hi there crafters! Have you all seen the amazing blog hop with the new Jane's Doodles release yesterday? If not, make sure to check my post before this post! Today I'm sharing another Jane's Doodles card with you! Using her gorgeous stamp set Whales! 

I kept this card pretty clean, to make the water in blue colours and the whales really pop! I started with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then added a white front panel, which I diecutted with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. 

I blended a fun background on my card using the Perfect Pool Stencil from My Favorite Things and Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I stamped the fun text 'Have a Whale of a day' in the upper middle and then added the two whales from the set that I stamped, fussy cutted and coloured with Copic Markers.

Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Whales Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm excited to share this fun underwater card with you! I created this fun slimline card with the Whales stamp set from Jane's Doodles! This fun set is part of Jane's latest release, make sure to check it!!

I started this card with a white slimline card base, and diecutted a front panel with a stitched slimline die. I blended this piece with different blue ink colours, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot, all Ranger Distress Oxide inks. 

I added some rays of sunlight with Copic Markers to make it look like these fish are just swimming underneath the water surface. I stamped all the fun whales from the set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers before adding them on to my card using dimensionals.
