I wanted to create a see through window for this card. I diecutted a piece of white cardstock first with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die and then with the Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Circle die.
I then created a winter scene by blending a piece of white cardstock in three Distress ink colours, Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans and Black Soot. After blending I added some white ink spatters to create a snow look. I used a bit of white paint for this technique which I thinned with a bit of water. Just use a brush and tip some spatters with it on to your paper.
I took this cute little Christmas dog as a focal point for my card, I just love this doggy stamp set! I coloured him with Copic Markers. Then I coloured some white cardstock with a Copic Marker in red, the same marker as I used for my dog, for the text. I stamped my text with Versamark ink and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. Then heat set the text with a heat tool for a nice textured feel. If you would like to see how this card came about, check the video below or watch on YouTube in HD! I would like to send this card in to the sketch challenge over at Card Challenges from MFT! Will you enter as well? I always love a great sketch! Thanks for watching today, I hope I will see you soon!
