Hi everyone! Hope you are all safe and healthy! I am happy to announce that today a new challenge starts at CAS on Friday Challenges! Are you all ready for this one? This challenge is all about your favourite flower stamp! I created a gorgeous card with the Enchanted Iris stamp set from Altenew!
For those of you who are not familiar with a CAS card, CAS stands for Clean and Simple! Hope to see a lot of you at CAS on Friday! I started my card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a front panel with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die and blended a piece of my background with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink and a blending tool. I added some Nuvo Drops on to my background to make it a bit more interesting, using the colours Plum Pudding and Simply White.
I then stamped the text from the set in the upper middle of my front panel and added this panel on to my card base using dimensionals. I then stamped and diecutted the amazing flowers that you'll find in this set. I coloured them with copic markers in purple tones and added my flowers with dimensionals on to my card. Simply stunning!
Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you all entering the challenge!
Hi everyone! Welcome to my second flower post this week! I'm on a roll I guess, and they are so much fu to do, so maybe I should get me some more flower sets to play with! I created this card with the gorgeous stamp set Enchanted Iris from Altenew!
I started this card with a white card base in A2 size. I then blended a piece of my background with Smoky Slate ink from Stampin' Up. Then I diecutted a cute panel with dots from the same white cardstock, using the Polka Plate die from Avery Elle. I added my front panel to my base with dimensionals, so there would be some space between the layers, creating a fun peek-a-boo effect through the small circles.
I then stamped and diecutted the flowers from the set with the coordinating dies. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added some white paint spatters to them to make them really pop. Just love my white paint spatters, lol! I also diecutted the text Thanks from the set from Gold Foil Paper. I added my flowers and text to the front panel using a fine tip glue pen. I used this glue also to add some gold sequins.
I'd like to send this card in to the May challenge over at Altenew, there is a inspiration challenge up this month! My first entry there, love to play along more often!
Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
Hi guys, welcome to my blog today! I'm sharing a gorgeous card today created with the Enchanted Iris stamp set from Altenew! I love this flower set, these flowers are so pretty! Wouldn't mind having a few of them in my home! Make sure you watch the Video Tutorial at the end of this post to see how this card is created!
. The base for this card is from Thick Whisper White Cardstock from Stampin' Up. Up front I placed a frame of Whisper White Cardstock on dimensionals that I diecutted with two Stitched Rectangle Dies from MFT. I coloured a piece of paper on my card that fits right behind the frame with a blending tool and Peacock Feather Distress ink from Ranger.
I then stamped my flowers using a stamping tool and Black Tuxedo Memento ink on to Solar White Neenah Cardstock. This paper is great to color with Copic Markers. I diecutted these images with the coordinating dies before colouring.
I actually googled the Iris flower to see which colours it usually has. I think this purple version is just amazing! I started with the greens for the leaves and went from light up to darker colours. I coloured my flowers in different shades of purple and kept some yellow in the middle. In my photo below you can see which colours Copic Markers I used to create this card with.
I tried my best to create a Video Tutorial for this card as well. But with winter arriving it gets darker inside our house as well, so I was hoping the Video would be a bit better quality than it is, I hope everything is still sharp enough for you to get a good idea about how this card was created, have fun watching!
