Stampin with Liz Design: Super Cat Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Do you guys love entering challenges too? I just love them, it's always so fun to see everbody's take on the subject! Today I'd lke to share my card that I entered at the Mft stamps challenge, my take on their sketch!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Houden jullie ook zo van het meedoen met challenges? Ik vind ze geweldig, het is altijd zo leuk te zien hoe iedereen een challenge verschillend uitwerkt! Vandaag deel ik graag mijn kaart met jullie die ik gemaakt heb naar aanleiding van de Mft stamps challenge, mijn uitwerking van de sketch!

I used the fun My Favorite Things stamp set Super Cat for this card! I started with a base from white cardstock in A2 size. I created a front panel from a fun design paper from the On Point Patterns Paper Pack from Mft stamps, that I diecutted with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Die-namics set and a die from thte Stitched Dome Stax Die-namis, both from Mft. I created a border around the half circle from white cardstock by diecutting it with two dies from the last Die-namics set.

Voor deze kaart ben ik aan de slag gegaan met de stempelset Super Cat van My Favorite Things! Ik heb als basis een witte kaart gebruik in A2 formaat. Ik heb een front panel gemaakt van een leuk designpapiertje uit de On Point Patterns Paper Pack van Mft Stamps die ik gestanst heb met de grootste framelits uit de Stitched Rectangles Die-namics en een framelits uit de Stitched Dome Stax Die-namics, beiden van Mft. Ik heb een rand rondom de halve cirkel die ontstaan is gemaakt door wit cardstock te stansen met 2 opeenvolgende framelits uit de laatste Die-namics set.

I then started colouring my base card with ink by using a blending tool, just right behind where the open space of my front panel would be, using Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I then diecutted a piece of black cardstock with the City Block dies from Mft and placed the skyline behind my front panel at the bottom of the half circle. I then added my front with dimensionals on to my card base. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured my images from the set and added them to my card to finish this cutie!

Ik ben dan mijn basis kaart gaan blenden met inkt en een blending tool, net op de plek waar de halve cirkel van mijn front panel voor gaat komen  met drie kleuren Ranger Distress Oxide inkt, Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean en Tumbled Glass. Voor de skyline heb ik een stuk zwart cardstock gestanst met de City Block framelits van Mft en deze achter mijn front panel geplakt. Daarna heb ik mijn panel op mijn kaart bevestigd met dimensionals. Daarna heb ik de leuke figuurtjes uit de set gestempeld, gestanst en gekleurd en ze vervolgens om deze gave kaart af te maken bevestigd!

Stampin with Liz Design: Garden Friends Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'd like to share a fun card that I created with the Hello Bluebird stamp set Garden Friends! This set is so much fun with the cute little frogs! You can also find butterflies, a snail and the cutest birds ever in this amazing set!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Vandaag deel ik graag een kaart met jullie die ik gemaakt heb met de Hello Bluebird stempelset Garden Friends! Deze set is ontzettend leuk met super schattige kikkertjes! Naast de kikkers vind je ook nog vlinders, een slak en een aantal prachtige vogeltjes in deze leuke set!

For this card I started with a card base from White Cardstock. I then created a front panel with a die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles dies from Mft stamps. I blended the upper bit with Mermaid Lagoon Distress ink and the Mini Cloud Stencil from Mft as well. I created grass by using the Grassy Hills Dies from Mft and the water with the Stitched Snow Drift Die-namics from Mft.

Voor deze kaart heb ik een basis van wit cardstock genomen en vervolgens een voorkant gestanst met een stans uit de Wonky Stitched Rectangles set van Mft stamps. Het bovenste gedeelte heb ik geblend met Mermaid Lagoon Distress inkt van Ranger en de Mini Cloud Stencil van Mft. Het gras gedeelte heb ik gestanst met de Grassy Hills Die-namics en het water met de Stitched Snow Drift Die-namics, beide van Mft stamps. 

I then stamped the fun images from this set. I diecutted them with my Scan 'N Cut machine from Brother and then coloured them with Copic Markers. I stamped the text with Versamark ink on to black cardstock and then heat setted it with a heat tool to get a nice structured result.

Daarna ben ik de leuke figuurtjes uit de set gaan stempelen. Ik heb ze uitgesneden met behulp van de Scan 'N Cut Brother machine en ze daarna ingekleurd met Copic Markers. De tekst is gestempeld met Versamark inkt op zwart cardstock, bestrooid met wit embossingpoeder en daarna verhit met een heat tool om een mooie structuur aan je gestempelde tekst te krijgen.

Stampin with Liz Design: Enchanted Iris Card with Video Tutorial!

Hoi allemaal, welkom vandaag op mijn blog! Ik deel vandaag graag een prachtige kaart gemaakt met de stempelset Enchanted Iris met jullie! Deze stempelset is echt prachtig, de bloemen zijn zo mooi! Ik zou het zeker niet erg vinden om deze in huis te hebben! Aan het einde van deze post vind je een Video Tutorial waarin je kunt zien hoe deze kaart gemaakt is!

Hi guys, welcome to my blog today! I'm sharing a gorgeous card today created with the Enchanted Iris stamp set from Altenew! I love this flower set, these flowers are so pretty! Wouldn't mind having a few of them in my home! Make sure you watch the Video Tutorial at the end of this post to see how this card is created!

De basis voor deze kaart is een strook Thick Whisper White Cardstock van Stampin' Up. Op de voorgrond heb ik een frame van Whisper White Cardstock geplaatst op dimensionals die ik gestanst heb met 2 Stitched Rectangle Dies van MFT. Op de basis van de kaart heb ik binnen de lijnen van het frame een deel gekleurd met een blending tool en Peacock Feathers Distress inkt van Ranger.

The base for this card is from Thick Whisper White Cardstock from Stampin' Up. Up front I placed a frame of Whisper White Cardstock on dimensionals that I diecutted with two Stitched Rectangle Dies from MFT. I coloured a piece of paper on my card that fits right behind the frame with a blending tool and Peacock Feather Distress ink from Ranger. 

Daarna heb ik mijn bloemen gestempeld met behulp van een stamping tool en Black Tuxedo Memento inkt op Solar White Neenah cardstock. Dit papier is geweldig om met Copic Markers te kleuren. Ik heb de bloemen wel eerst gestanst voor ik met kleuren ben begonnen.

I then stamped my flowers using a stamping tool and Black Tuxedo Memento ink on to Solar White Neenah Cardstock. This paper is great to color with Copic Markers. I diecutted these images with the coordinating dies before colouring.

Ik heb de bloem Iris wel even moeten googlen om te zien welke kleuren deze heeft. Ik ben wel helemaal verliefd op de paarse versie, zo mooi! Ik ben begonnen met de groene tinten op de blaadjes. Daarna heb ik de bloemen in verschillende tinten paars gekleurd met geel in het midden. Op onderstaande foto kun je zien welke kleuren Copic Markers ik heb gebruikt voor deze kaart.

I actually googled the Iris flower to see which colours it usually has. I think this purple version is just amazing! I started with the greens for the leaves and went from light up to darker colours. I coloured my flowers in different shades of purple and kept some yellow in the middle. In my photo below you can see which colours Copic Markers I used to create this card with. 

Ook voor deze kaart heb ik weer mijn best gedaan om een Video Tutorial te maken. Het wordt alleen steeds donkerder in huis met deze dagen, dus de kleuren met name op het inkleur gedeelte hadden scherper gekund. Toch hoop ik dat het een goed beeld geeft hoe deze kaart tot stand is gekomen, veel kijkplezier! Om de video in HD te kunnen bekijken op YouTube, klik hier!


I tried my best to create a Video Tutorial for this card as well. But with winter arriving it gets darker inside our house as well, so I was hoping the Video would be a bit better quality than it is, I hope everything is still sharp enough for you to get a good idea about how this card was created, have fun watching! Stampin with Liz Design: Paw Print Card!

Hoi, welkom bij een nieuwe blog post van Stampin with Liz Design. Deze week kreeg ik een aantal nieuwe spulletjes binnen en dan is het natuurlijk heerlijk om daar mee aan de slag te gaan. Vandaag laat ik jullie graag een kaart zien met een super schattig hondje uit de stempelset Paw Print van Reverse Confetti!

Hi and welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! I received some fun new products this week and spoiled myself on some me crafting time. So today I'd like to show you a card with the cutest little dog ever from the Paw Print stamp set from Reverse Confetti!

Voor deze kaart heb ik Whisper White en Sahara Sand Cardstock van Stampin' Up! gebruikt. Ik heb een achtergrond gecreëerd met een blending tool en distress inkt en een stencil van MFT. Het gras is ook op die manier gekleurd en gestanst met de Die-Namics Grassy Edges van MFT.

I used Whisper White and Sahara Sand Cardstock from Stampin' Up! for this card. I created a bakcground with a blending tool and distress ink with a stencil from MFT. I coloured the paper for the grass with the same technique and then diecutted it with the Die-Namics Grassy Edges from MFT.

Het leuke hondje en zijn hok en botjes heb ik ingekleurd met Copic Markers. Het hondenhok heb ik achter het gras laten vallen. Het hondje is met dimensionals op de kaart aangebracht, zo komt hij mooi als middelpunt uit! Super schattig toch?

I coloured this cute little dog, his dog house and bones with Copic Markers. I placed the dog house behind the grass and the dog with dimensionals on this card, so it stays the focal point. Isn't he just the cutest?
