Stampin with Liz Design: Clearly Besotted Bee Safe Card!

Hi there crafters! These are some pretty weird times we live in right now, hope you are all safe and healthy! Clearly Besotted is sharing a fun freebie on their site, with a text created for these times. I loved that they thought of that and wanted to create a card hoping it will lift some spirits! Bee Safe, Stay Home!

My card is actually a simple one, the image is already so nice, I thought it didn't need much more. I started with a white card base in A2 size (which is aproximately   4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a fun front panel with a die from the Card Front Element Builder set from SugarPea Designs.

On this front panel I added some clouds, created with a blending tool, Broken China Distress Oxide ink from Ranger and the Mini Clouds stencil from Mft stamps. I then printed the text over my blended part. This freebie is a digital stamp set, which works so easy, just print the image in any size you'd like! I printed the bees, fussycutted these cuties and coloured them with Copic Markers. Just love bee stamps! I added my coloured images with dimensionals on to my card. Stampin with Liz Design: Chinese New Year at Isabel Cristina!

Hi my crafty friends! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! For us in Europe, the new year has already started. For the Chinese, new year starts today! This year will be the year of the rat, so in honour to celebrate this, you can find a cute freebie over at Isabel Cristina today!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Voor ons in Europa is het nieuwe jaar al even begonnen. Maar in China start nieuwjaar vandaag! Dit jaar is het jaar van de rat en ter ere daarvan vind je vandaag bij Isabel Cristina een leuke freebie!

You will find this cute rat, circle and the number 2020 in this fun set! I created a card with this cutie in, I hope I got in right, chinese colours for this event. I started with a red card base and then added a gold panel. I then started working on my front. I blended a soft background with Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

Je vind in deze leuke set een schattig ratje, een circle en het getal 2020! Ik heb een kaart met dit leuke kereltje gemaakt, in en ik hoop dat ik het goed heb, chinese traditionele kleuren. Ik heb een rode kaartbasis genomen, met hiervoor een goudkleurig panel. Ik heb voor mijn voorkant in zachte kleuren een strook papier geblend met Spun Sugar en Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt van Ranger. 

The brench and text are from a Mama Elephant stamp set, I just thought it would be so cute combining both! I think the flowers have something to do with Chinese traditions, but google didn't really help me so far, lol. I added my images with dimensionals on to my card. So for everyone who is celebrating today, I wish you a happy new year!

De tak en tekst komen uit een Mama Elephant stempelset, het leek me leuk om beide te combineren. Ik denk dat de bloesem ook iets te maken heeft met chinese tradities, maar google kon me nog niet verder helpen, haha. Ik heb mijn afbeeldingen met dimensionals op mijn kaart aangebracht.
