Stampin with Liz Design: Crafty Meraki Hot Diggity Dog Heffy Doodle Card!

Hi there crafters! Are you all ready for a new slimline card? Today I'm over at the Crafty Meraki blog with a fun card I created with the Hot Diggity Dog stamp set from Heffy Doodle! I'm totally a dog person, so really love this stamp set!

I started this card by diecutting a patterned piece of paper with the Slimline Pull Tabs Dies from Heffy Doodle and added a card base from white cardstock behind this piece. I then started working on a background on a front panel. I blended a sky using Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink and a cloud stencil. I stamped the text 'Hot Diggity Dog' from the stamp set in my left upper corner.

I then added two pieces of grass, which I diecutted with the Slimline Snow Drifts dies from My Favorite Things. I blended these pieces with Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. Í diecutted a piece on the side of my card with the Slimline Pull Tabs dies, to create a pull element, which I added on the back of my card using small magnets to move the frisbee around. How fun is that! I then stamped, diecutted and coloured all the doggy images before adding them on to my card using dimensionals. These cuties seem to have loads of mischievious fun in the backyard!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Lawn Fawn Dad + Me Card!

Hi there crafters! Hope you are all doing great! Today I'm sharing a fun interactive card that I created with the Lawn Fawn stamp set Dad + Me! I just love the fun images of this amazing set!

I used a white A2 card base for this card and added a piece of patterned paper on the front of my card from the Knock on Wood Paper Pack. I then added a piece of dark brown cardstock on which I added a fun front panel on which I created a fun scene for these adorable critters. I diecutted this panel with a die from the Magic Iris Add-On dies.

I stamped the mountains from the Over the Mountains stamp set on my panel first and masked them to start blending the sky and the sand part. I then added grass and the water part from the stamp set and then started stamping all the fun critters, which I fussy cutted and coloured with Copic Markers. I used a turning wheel, on which I placed the fun deer, dressing him up with the hilarious items from the stamp set, so much fun! Turn the wheel and you will see three different looking critters!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Lawn Fawn Ahoy, Matey Interactive Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'd like to share a fun card I created with the amazing products from Lawn Fawn! I just love their interactive dies! For this card I used the stamp set Ahoy, Matey! and the interactive dies Magic Iris and the Magic Iris Camera add-on! Don't you just like how you can switch the camera on and off?

I started this card with a card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"), created from Mermaid cardstock. I then added a layer that I diecutted with a Stitched Rectangle die and blended in different blue colours using Ranger Distress Oxide ink and a blending tool. I then started working on the camera, the interactive part behind the camera and all the fun images from the Ahoy, Matey! stamp set!

I used white cardstock to diecut the camera from and blended it in a lime green colour. I then added  piece of patterned paper in yellow with woodgrain from Lawn Fawn. I added a piece of sand at the bottom of the camera, mimicking a beach scene for this fun pirate crew!

I created a camera lens which you can open, using the interactive dies, so much fun when you see it working! Just switch the handle on the right of the card, and the lens will open to show a fun scene behind! I added all the fun images from the stamp set after stampin, diecutting and colouring them with Copic Markers. To finish this fun card with, I added the text Ahoy, which I diecutted with the Oliver's Stitched ABC's dies!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to announce that a new challenge starts today at CAS on Friday Challenges! We have a fun new theme this challenge, use a die! I love my dies, so sharing a fun interactive card today that I created with the Peek-a-Boo Wheel die and the Wonderful Woodland Friends stamp set, both from My Favorite Things!

Entering the CAS on Friday Challenges is easy, anything goes, use a die, but just keep your card CAS (clean and simple)! Hope to see you all there! I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a rotation wheel from the Peek-a-Boo die-namics, which you place between your card base and your front. I then diecutted a front panel from white cardstock, using a Stitched Rectangle die. I blended a fun background using the Mini Cloud, Grassy Edges stencil, Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I then stamped the tree over my blended part, Tumbled Glass ink is very light, using the darker colors Copic Markers will turn out great colouring over the blended part. I then diecutted the speech bubble and side opening from the Peek a Boo die-namics and added the rotation wheel with a split pen on to my card base. I added my front panel on to my card base, using dimensionals, just around the rotation wheel, so it will still have enough space to move around freely. I then stamped four different text from the Magical Friends stamp set on my turning wheel, just through the speech bubble and added an arrow on the side of the turning wheel. I stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun images from the Woodland set, they are just so cute! I added them with dimensionals on to my card. Just turn the wheel to read the whole story!

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you all entering the challenge!
