CAS on Friday - Warm Hugs Card!

The first card of the new year is a fact! I created a fun Winter CAS Card for the new Cas on Friday Challenge! I created for this amazing challenge blog before and so happy to announce I will be starting another term there! I hope you will all share your CAS winter themed inspiration with us there!

I started this card with a soft blue card base in A2 size. I then added a fun front panel, which is diecutted with the largest Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die from MFT Stamps. I starting stamping the fun images from the Warm Hugs stamp set from Heffy Doodle, and masked them with masking paper. This way you can place images in front of the other and off course, keep your images clean so you can start blending!

I blended a small piece of my background using Ranger Distress Oxide ink and then removed the masking paper from my card. All clean images to then colour with Copic Markers. I added some splatters and stars to finish my winter card with!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Heffy Doodle - Prehistoric Pals Card!

Hi there everyone! Sharing my second card as a guest designer for Heffy Doodle today, yeah!! For today I'm sharing a fun slimline card using the Highland Honeys and Prehistoric Pals stamp set!

I started this card with a white slimline card base and then added a piece of patterned paper to it. I then diecutted a front panel using a stitched slimline die and started working on a fun background for these prehistoric cuties! I started with stamping the mountains from the Highland Honeys stamp set and then masking them, to keep them clean before starting to blend a dark bleu sky.

I added some white splatters to my sky, to make it more fun. I then removed my masking paper and coloured the mountains with Copic Markers. I then added a piece of grass and sand, both blended with ink. I then stamped all the fun images from the Prehistoric Pals stamp set, just love this amazing set! I fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added the fun sentiment 'Never Too Old to Go Clubbing'! Don't you just love it!?

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Heffy Doodle - You Go, Gull! Card!

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be on the Heffy Doodle blog today as their guest designer! I so love their stamps!! So feeling really honoured they asked me to create a card for them! I created a fun slimline card with their amazing stamp sets You Go, Gull! and A Little Shellfish!

I choose a slimline card base for this card, I just love the slimline layout! I started with a white card base and then added a layer of patterned and coloured cardstock. I then diecutted a front panel, using the Slimline Pull Tab Dies. These dies give such a nice stitched scalloped border! I started working next on creating a fun beach background!

I blended the sky in a light blue colour and added some rays of sunlight. I then added waves, which I blended with a slightly darker blue colour and then added the beach. All these parts, I then diecutted with the Slimline Pull Tab Dies to make it a perfect fit for my panel. I then stamped all the amazing images from both stamp sets, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. To finish this fun card with, I added the sentiment from the You Go, Gull! stamp set.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Crafty Meraki Slimline Card!

Hi there everyone! Today I'm over at the Crafty Meraki blog with a fun, new slimline card! I'm totally addicted to slimline cards, just love their size! I created this card with the Frame-Worthy Slimline die from Crafty Meraki and the fun Who Let the Dogs Out stamp set from Heffy Doodle!

I started this card with a white slimline card base and started working on a fun background for the cute puppies from the Heffy Doodle stamp set to play on. I blended a blue sky, using Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then added a piece of grass on the bottom, which I blended with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide ink.

I added some white splatters to the sky and stamped the text 'Yappy Birthday' from the stamp set in the left corner. I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with the amazing Frame-Worthy Slimline die and added this frame on top of my card base. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured all the cute images from the stamp set and added them on to my card using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
