Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today a new challenge starts at Create a Smile Challenges! Are you all ready for it? We have a new amazing moodboard for you this time! I created a card to inspire you with, with the gorgeous Pure Poppies stamp set!

You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!
I started my card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4"  x 5 1/2").  I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die and blended a fun background on it. I was inspired by the gorgeous colours and grid texture of this moodboard and tried to mimic this by using orange flowers and blending a background with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink from Ranger and the Diamonds stencil.

I added some splatters to my background to make it a bit more interesting and added a few handmade embellishments by adding just simply some gorgeous Nuvo Crystal Drops in the colour Wedgewood Blue. I just love the magic in these small jars! I then stamped the gorgeous flowers from the set and coloured them with Copic Markers in orange colors. I stamped the text birthday on to my card, from a different set, must admit, forgot which one, lol, sorry. I added my flowers with dimensionals on to my card and added the text Happy, which I diecutted from black and vellum cardstock with the Happy Cool Cuts dies. I then added my front panel with dimensionals on to my card base.

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you all entering the challenge!

Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi there crafters! Are you all ready for a new Create a Smile Challenge? We were so happy to see a lot of you joining our last one, hope you will all enter this one too! Today's theme is a great sketch! I used the amazing flower stamps from the Pure Poppies stamp set!

I took this gorgeous skecth in mind and started from there thinking about which stamp set I would use. I could just see the gold oval frame in front of me and thought flowers would be amazing! Can't wait to see what you will all create! You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I started my card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2 "). I then diecutted a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock with a Stitched Retangle die. I applied in the same colour ink softly a gorgeous background using the Diamonds stencil and a blending tool. I adde some white drops with Nuvo drops and white ink splatters to make the background pop a bit more.

I diecutted a piece of gold foil paper with a scalloped oval die and added this on to my front panel with dimensionals. I then stamped and coloured the gorgeous flowers from the set. I placed these just behind the oval using dimensionals as well. I diecutted black cardstock with the Cool Cuts Happy die and applied the text over my flowers at the bottom of the oval! I stamped a tekst from a different stamp set on pink paper and added some sequins to make this card complete!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Stay safe and hope to see you at Create a Smile Challenges! Can't wait to see what you will create!
