Stampin with Liz Design: Ready, Set, Snow Card!

Hi everyone! Winter is still here in the Netherlands where we live, but snow is a bit of a rarety. A few snowdays we sometimes have, but don't start thinking in centimeters, lol. Just a bit, sometimes it's cold enough to ice skate, but skiing is still on my bucket list. No mountains or snow enough here, maybe need to book a snow vacation someday. Mft stamps has just the most adorable ski set, Ready, Set, Snow! Don't you just want to try yourself now?

I used a firm card base for my card for today, using Thick Whisper White Cardstock from Stampin' Up. I love using this heavier paper. I wanted to create an interactive card with this fun stamp set and used the Downhill Slope Dies to create a front panel which makes it possible for the polar bear to really slide on his skis!

I coulered the sky by using a blending tool and Tumbles Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I added the text 'Happy Brrrthday' in the right upper corner of my card. I stamped the images with Black Tuxedo Memento ink and diecutted them with the coordinating Ready, Set, Snow Die-Namics. I coloured them with Copic Markers. I will list the numbers I used at the end of this post.

To make sure the Polar Bear could really slide, I added my front snow panel on dimensionals on to my card base. That leaves a bit of room between the layers of paper, so in the slide slope part you place some Slider Elements and place the bear on top. Now it has room to move!

For those who are wondering, since today I am no longer officialy a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. You probably guessed by now that I started doing other projects as well and I'm just exploring what I like most. I still love their products, but I most admit, I love so many brands, that I don't want to be defined to just one thing. I discovered my love for colouring and blending this year and will see where this will take me! I hope you will all follow my new adventures too!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
