Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Ahoy! Card!

Hi there everyone! Today I'm over at the Jane's Doodles Blog with a new, fun card created with Jane's gorgeous stamp set Ahoy! I just can't get enough of this fun set, the little pirates are just so much fun!

I kept this card very clean, just love the look! I started with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and added a white frame, which I diecutted with two different sizes of Stitched Rectangle Dies. Behind the frame I created a fun beach scene which I blended!

I used Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink for the beach, Broken China for the waves combining a Wave Stencil and Tumbled Glass for the sky part. I stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the stamp set with Copic Markers before adding the images on to my card using dimensionals. Don't you just love the naughty pirate boy and parrot?

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Ahoy Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'm over at the Jane's Doodles blog with a fun, new card! I created this cute slimline card with the Ahoy! stamp set!

I started this card with a white card base and added a front panel that I diecutted with a fun slimline die. I used a scalloped die to diecute a piece of light Kraft paper with, and a stitched slimline die for my front panel. I blended a fun background on this panel, using Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I diecutted the beach and waves and added them to my base.

I then stamped all the fun images from the Ahoy! stamp set, they are the most adorable pirates I've ever seen for sure, lol! I fussy cutted the images, coloured them with Copic Markers and added them on to my card using dimensionals. Ahoy! everyone!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope you enjoyed this fun card and to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Belated Birthday Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun card of the cutest little turtle hanging out on his favorite deserted Island! This cutie is from the Belated Birthday stamp set from Jane's Doodles! Check the end of this post for a Video Tutorial how to create this fun card!

I thought it would be cool to create a desserted island where this fun guy can eat some birthday cake! I used the Ahoy! stamp set to stamp the palm trees with, what's a tropical island without palm trees, right? I created a an island in sea by diecutting a piece of white cardstock with a Stitched Dome Stax, which I blended with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink from Ranger, and letting it fall behind the waves.

I used a stencil to draw waves on my blended water part, this gives your sea such a fun effect! I stamped, fussycutted and coloured the fun images from the stamp sets and added them on to my card with dimensionals.

If you'd like to see step by step how I created this fun card, check the Video Tutorial below! I would love it if you'd left a thumbs up and follow my YouTube Channel, I will post a Tutorial on a regular base! Hope to see you there! Just click on the image below to start the Video or click here!

Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Ahoy and Under the Sea Card!

Hi there crafters! Today I'm sharing a fun slimline card with you all create with the Under the Sea and Ahoy stamp set from Jane's Doodles! I just love slimline cards, you can create such fun layouts on them! On this card I had enough room to create an underwater and an above water scene!

I used a white card base for this card and then started creating a background on my front panel, whicih is just slightly smaller then my card base. I blended the sky with Tumbled Glass, Spiced Marmelade and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then diecutted a lot of different pieces of white cardstock with the Ocean Waves and Stitched Snow Drifts dies from Mft stamps.

I blended the beach parts with Antique Linen ink and the water parts with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I adhered all the parts on to my card and trimmed them in to the same size as my front panel. I then stamped all the fun images from the stamp set, two of the smaller fish are from the Simon and Oh Ship set. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added all these fun images on to my card using dimensionals. To top this card with, I added the text 'Ye are a Treasure' at the bottom!

Thanks for stopping by today, hope to see you all soon!

Stampin with Liz Design: Jane's Doodles Ahoy! Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Jane's Doodles blog with a new, fun card! Don't we all wish right now we could be somewhere else then at home after a few weeks of social distancing or even lock down? I could so imagine myself being on a deserted Island, sun, beach and a whole lot of quietness!

For this card I used the amazing stamp set Ahoy! This set is so much fun with the cool pirates, palm tree, parrot and much more! I used a dark blue card base for this card and created a fun front panel which I added later on to my card base with dimensionals. I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a Stitched Rectangle die and blended this part with Broken China Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then added a piece of beach, which I diecutted with a large stitched round die and blended with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. I love added some brown dots to the beach, to create some sand feeling!

I then diecutted two pieces of white cardstock with a wave die and blended these with Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink. I added some spatters to this part. I then stamped, fussycutted and coloured the fun images from the set with Copic Markers. I added them on to my card with dimensionals. Ahoy!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Stay safe, hang in there, better times will come!
