Stampin with Liz Design: Mft stamps Forever and Owlways Card!

Hi there crafters! Hope you are all doing well. Today I'd like to share a card with one of my favorite stamp sets, the Forever and Owlways set from My Favorite Things! These owls are just the cutest!

I created this card to enter the new sketch challenge at Mft stamps, yoohoo, last week I had some time to enter as well, just love a fun sketch! Sketched are a great starter point to create cards, don't you think?
I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is aproximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/5"). I kept my card very clean, to make the owls in front of the window really pop. I added a front panel to my card with dimensionals. I coloured the space behind the window with different colours of blue Copic Markers, to create night time outside looking through the window! I added stars from the stamp set with Versamark ink and white embossing powder!

I coloured the upper part of my front panel with a blending tool and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a die from the Window dies. I then stamped the fun owls and their brench and coloured these images with Copic Markers. I added all the images, including the window, with dimensionals on to my front panel and stamped the text "We're the Best of Friends, Forever and Owlways" underneath to finish this cutie up!

Stampin with Liz Design: Forever and Owlways Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Today I'm sharing a very simple, but cute card! Sometimes simple is all it takes, isn't it? Sure, I love creating fun backgrounds, but I do also enjoy a CAS card every once in a while! Created my card for today with the lovely stamp set Forever and Owlways stamp set from Mft stamps!

Hoi allemaal! Welkom bij weer een nieuwe Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Vandaag deel ik graag een simpele, maar schattige kaart met jullie! Soms hoeft het allemaal niet al te moeilijk toch? Zeker houd ik van het creëreren van een prachtige achtergrond, maar ik geniet zeker ook van een CAS kaartje op zijn tijd! Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met de superleuke stempelset Forever and Owlways van Mft stamps!

This is just a one layer card. I used a base from thick White Cardstock and stamped the two cutest owls you will ever see and a brench on my card and then masked them. I used a piece of masking paper on which I stamped the image again and fussy cutted it, so it would be placed just right over my stamped image on my card.

Deze kaart bestaat geheel uit één laag. Ik heb een kaart basis gebruikt van dik wit cardstock, afgesneden op A2 formaat. Ik heb de twee leukste uiltjes ooit en een tak hierop gestempeld en vervolgens bedekt met masking papier. Ik heb de afbeelding nog een keer gestempeld op het masking papier, deze uitgeknipt en over mij gestempelde afbeelding op de kaart geplakt. 

So now my image is protected and I can start with blending a piece on my card with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink from Ranger and a blending tool. When you remove your masking paper, your stamped image of the owls and brench will still be clean and you can colour them with Copic Markers. I added some spatters and sequins to finish this simply stunning card!

Nu is de afbeelding dus beschermd en ben ik begonnen met het blenden van de achtergrond. Ik heb een stukje geblend met een blending tool en Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inkt an Ranger. Wanneer je dan je masking papier verwijderd, is de afbeelding van de uil en tak nog geheel schoon en kan je deze inkleuren met Copic Markers. Ik heb nog wat spatters en sequins aangebracht om deze simpele, maar leuke kaart af te maken!

Stampin with Liz Design: Forever and Owlways Card!

Hi, welcome to my new Blog Post! I shared some card with the Forever and Owlways stamp set from Mft stamps before, today I'd like to share another one! This set is just so amazing, I just love the cute little owls, especially the two owls together that I used at the bottom of this card. They are just so cute!

For this card I used a different size card base. I just love the heigh cards, I think they are amazing and make your smaller stamped images really pop! This card is about 21 x 8.5 cm. I blended my background after using masking tape to keep my sides clear, with a blending tool and Twisted Citron and Tumbled Glass Distress ink from Ranger, I added some stars in Tumbled Glass to my background en different colours of Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I stamped my images with Black Tuxedo Memento ink and diecutted them with the coordinating Forever and Owlways Die-namics.  I coloured the owls in soft colours with my Copic Markers. I used the colours E55, E57, E59, YG05, YG09, YG67, YG11, C0, C1, C2, C3, G40, B00, B01, BG10, BV00, V12, R14, RV06, RV04, R11 and R20. I added my images and text with dimensionals on to my card.

Stampin with Liz Design: Forever and Owlways Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new blog post! Today I'm sharing a fun, sweet card created with the stamp set Forever and Owlways from MFT stamps. This set is just gorgeous, I'm just in love with the titel of this set, which in this case, there is a text stamp which includes the title as well. Just too cute!

I used a White Cardstock base in A2 size for this card. I diecutted a piece of White Cardstock
with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangle Stax Die-namics. I coloured this piece of paper with a blending tool and two colours of Ranger Distress ink, Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers. I added some spatters with a slightly darker blue colour, Faded Jean Distress ink and Peacock Feathers. I stamped the stars from the set in the corners of where my frame would come with Tumbled Glass ink.

I created a frame using Gold Glimmer Cardstock and a the second smallest die from the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics. I placed it on my card using dimensionals. I then stamped the images with Black Tuxedo Memento ink on Solar White Neenah Cardstock. I coloured them with Copic Markers, using the colours Y21, Y23, E33, E35, E37, E39, E55, E57, E59, R02, R32, R24, R29, YG05, YG07 and YG09.

You can of course diecut these fun images with the coordinating Forever and Owlways Die-namics, but I didn't think the white outline it gives, would match this card, so I fussycutted my image just on the stamped black line. I added my images with dimensionals and added some sweet hearts above the two cute owls. I stamped the fun text just right under my golden frame with Black Tuxedo Memento ink to finish this card!
