Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Sky High Card!

Hi there everyone! I have an adorable new card to share with you today! I just love these cute critters from the Sky High and Always Bring a Smile stamp sets from My Favorite Things!

For this one layer card I used a white card base in A2 size. I first stamped all the images I wanted up front and then masked them. A one layer card takes a bit of extra time because of the masking, but it's so worth it! I then stamped the images that fall behind my first images, so the turtle and treeline in this case. When you remove your masking paper, the bird and bunny are completely intact.

I then blended a fun sky (still using the masking paper over my stamped images of course) using Distress Oxide ink in purple and pink colours. I added some splatters on my background and then removed all the masking paper. To finish this super cute card with, I coloured all the images with Copic Markers!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Sky High Card!

Hi everyone! Have you all created a slimline card yet? I'm really in love with the size of these cards! Wether it's a vertical or horizontal one, I just love them! So I couldn't resist creating a fun slimline card with the Sky High stamp set from My Favorite Things! Such a fun layout for these flying critters!

The base of this card is a white slimline card, on which I added a soft blue panel and a panel from white cardstock that I diecutted with a slimline stitched rectangle die. I created a fun backgournd by stamping the grass, tree and bushes first, for which I used the great Scene Builder stamp set.

I masked the tree and grass, so I could start blending the sky. For the sky I used the Mini Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I coloured the rest of my scenery with Copic Markers. Just wouldn't know where to start without my markers, lol, they are just the best! I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the amazing images from the stamp set. Aren't these the cutest critters?

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Sky High Card!

Hi everyone! Sharing another card today with you all, ith the fun Sky High stamp set from My Favorite Things, designed by Stacey Yakula, who doesn't love her images? This set is very cute, I used the adorable fox and hedgehog flying their plane!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"), which I completely blended with Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. This ink is just amazing to blend with! I added some white splatters on to my background to give a bit more texture!

I then diecutted a fun front panel, which is from Avery Elle, called Oval Burst dies. I raised this panel with dimensionals, creating a fun depth between my card base and my front. I stamped the fun images from the stamp set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added my images on to my front panel, raising the parts which overlapped the oval with dimensionals. Isn't this the cutest ever? I'd like to send this card in to the sketch challenge of this week at Mft stamps!

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you soon, stay safe everyone!
