Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Sky High Card!

Hi there everyone! I have an adorable new card to share with you today! I just love these cute critters from the Sky High and Always Bring a Smile stamp sets from My Favorite Things!

For this one layer card I used a white card base in A2 size. I first stamped all the images I wanted up front and then masked them. A one layer card takes a bit of extra time because of the masking, but it's so worth it! I then stamped the images that fall behind my first images, so the turtle and treeline in this case. When you remove your masking paper, the bird and bunny are completely intact. 

I then blended a fun sky (still using the masking paper over my stamped images of course) using Distress Oxide ink in purple and pink colours. I added some splatters on my background and then removed all the masking paper. To finish this super cute card with, I coloured all the images with Copic Markers!

Hi there crafty folk! Welcome to a new blog post! Today I'm sharing a one layer slimline card I created with the gorgeous stamp set Always Bring a Smile from My Favorite Things! I just love the adorable images from this amazing set!

I choose a slimline card base for this card, not only because I love the size of these cards, but also because I wanted to use as many of the adorable images from this set as I could! Creating just a one layer card sounds easy, but actually means a lot of masking! So I started by stamping the images I wanted up front first. 

I then masked the first images, so I could start stamping the images I wanted to come behind them. Then I masked all the images to start blending a fun background. So don't be afraid of masking, lol! I used Mermaid Lagoon to blend the sky with. The rest of my card I coloured with Copic Markers and stamped the text 'You Always Bring a Smile to My Face' to finish this fun card with!

Hi there crafters! Hope you all had a creative weekend! Today I'm sharing a sweet card that I created with the gorgeous stamp set Always Bring a Smile from My Favorite Things!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle Die. I stamped the fun images from the stamp set on to my card, making this a one layer card. I then masked my images to start working on a background.

Masking is a great technique, I couldn't craft without anymore! It keeps your images nice and clean while blending! I blended a fun background by using a blending tool and Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink. I then removed the masking paper and coloured my stamped images with Copic Markers. This set is so cute!
