Stampin with Liz Design: Create a Smile Challenges!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Create a Smile Challenge today! We have an amazing moodboard this challenge, so hope to see a lot of you there! I created this card with the A Friendly Turn stamp set to inspire you with!

I love the moodboard for this challenge! Christine always knows how to get them look amazing! I used the blue and yellow/orange colours! These colours really look like summer to me, so hope the snowmen won't melt, lol! You can enter this challenge world wide and have a chance at winning a € 25 gift certificate to spend at Create a Smile stamps! For those of you who don't own a Create a Smile stamp set yet, you can use one of the freebies that are up on their site!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4 x 5 1/2") and then diecutted a front panel on which I created a fun scene. I blended the background with Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink for the sky, Evergreen Bough and Mowed Lawn for the bushes.

I diecutted the bushes with a stitched cloud die and added a bottom from a piece of patterned paper in a white wood look. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the A Friendly Turn stamp set. Don't you just like these cute snowmen having fun?! I added the wheel and the text from the set on to my card using dimensionals.

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: SugarPea Designs To Infinity & Beyond Card!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'm over at the SugarPea Designs blog with a new, fun card! I created this fun space card with the To Infinity & Beyond stamp set!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then diecutted a front panel with the stitched rectangle die from the Card Front Element Builder dies. I created a fun background on my front panel, by blending the sky and drawing a moon surface at the bottom. I used a fineliner for the moon surface and Copic Markers in grey tones to give it a bit of colour. No expert thought, maybe the moon isn't grey at all, lol!

I then used a blending tool and colours of Ranger Distress Oxide ink. I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet. I added some watter and white splatters to make the background look a bit more into space! I then stamped the text 'Hope your birthday is Out of this World' with Versamark ink, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat setted it. I then stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the set. I added them on to my card using dimensionals. Aren't they the cutest space travelers?

Hope you enjoyed this card today, see you next time! Stay safe everyone!

Stampin with Liz Design: Clearly Besotted Flower Plushies Card!

Hi everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the weekend! Today I'm sharing a fun, simple and clean card that I created with the gorgeous stamp set Flower Plushies from Clearly Besotted Stamps!

I love going all out on backgrounds, but I also do love a fun CAS (which means clean and simple) card as well! Today I kept things very simple, but strong! I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x  5 1/2") and diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Recangle die.

I stamped the gate on my front panel and masked it with masking tape. I then blended a background, using a cloud stencil, a blending tool, Broken China, Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then stamped the text just underneath the fence. I stamped, fussy cutted and coloured the cute little bear holding a flower and added this cutie with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope you enjoyed this clean card and to see you next time!
