Stampin with Liz Design: Free as a Bird Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun card that was up on the Jane's Doodles blog last week! I created this fun slimline card with the gorgeous stamp set Free as a Bird!

Slimline cards are a hot item right now, did you create one yet? I love the size of these cards, it makes your layout very interesting! For this card my card base is a white slimline card, on which I added a fun front panel. This front panel was blended with Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch Ranger Distress Oxide ink.

I kept the clouds white while blending. I stamped the clouds from the set on masking tape, fussy cutted them and applied them before blending on to my card. Just remove the masking tape after blending and voila! I then stamped the fun text Happy Bird-Day on my panel and added the fun birds I stamped, fussy cutted!

Stampin with Liz Design: Hello Bluebird Party on the Farm Card!

Hi everyone! Hope you all had an amazing weekend! Today I'm sharing some fun on the farm! I created this cute card with the Party on the Farm and Farmland stamp set from Hello Bluebird stamps!

I started this fun card with a white card base in A2 size. I then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die. I blended a background in blue colors, using a blending tool, masking tape, Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I stamped the gorgeous farm background using the Farmland set with Versamark ink on to my blended part. I used white embossing powder and heat setted it with a heat tool. I stamped the fun images from the Party on the Farm set, fussy cutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. I added them and the Happy Birthday text with dimensionals on to my card. These farm animals are partying for sure!

Stampin with Liz Design: My Favorite Things Mermazing Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing some mermaid fun! I so love these gorgeous images from the Mermazing stamp set from My Favorite Things!

This set is one of my favourites, I used three mermaid images on a slimline card! I created a fun underwater scene on this card. I started by masking my slimline card on the sides using masking tape. I then blended the sky with a blending tool, the Mini Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I then blended the water, using the Waves Stencil, Salty Ocean and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink.

For the bottom of the sea, I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a die from the Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges dies and blended this piece with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. I then stamped the text and the cute little fish on my card base. I stamped the images from the set, coloured them with Copic Markers and added them on to my card using dimensionals. I'm sending this card in to the new challenge at Simon Says Stamp! This weeks theme is summer, when I think of summer I think of the sun and the beach, so a sea card for me certainly means summer!

Stampin with Liz Design: Magengo Designs No More Cheese Card!

Hi everyone! Today I'm over at the Magengo Designs blog with a new fun Birthday card! We can never have too many birthday cards laying around, right? I created this fun card with the No More Cheese stamp set!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"). I then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die from white cardstock. I blended a fun background in pink colours. I used the Star Grid Stencil from Mft stamps for the bottom part of my card and coloured this part with a blending tool and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I used masking tape to create the two lower layers of colour, I used Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink for these parts. I added some pink splatters to the bottom. I then printed, fussy cutted and coloured the fun images from the digital stamp set and added them on to my card using dimensionals. I added a diecutted text Happy and a printed birthday to finish this fun card with!

Stampin with Liz Design: Hello Bluebird Besties Card!

Hi there! Welcome at another Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Today I'm sharing a fun card I created with the adorable stamp set Besties from Hello Bluebird stamps!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size (which is approximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and then diecutted a front panel with a Stitched Rectangle die from My Favorite Things. I then stamped the bunny and bear on this panel. I masked these two cuties before stamping the cloud with the grass part and flowers on top of the two.

I then masked the cloud as well, to start blending a background. I used Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers, Broken China and Tumbled Glass for the sky part and Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Ranger Distress Oxide ink for the grass part. I added some stars to the sky and grass on the bottom part. I then coloured the cloud and the adorable other images with Copic Markers.
