Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi everyone! Today a new challenge starts at CAS on Friday Challenges, so exciting! It's my turn to host this challenge, and I picked the theme summer, hope you all like it! I created this fun summer card with the fun Beach Babes stamp set from Hello Bluebird stamps!

I hope a lot of you will join this challenge! Creating a CAS card means keeping your card Clean and Simple, that is the only rule for this fun challenge! I choose a square size for this card, starting with a white square card base. I then trimmed a front panel just slighty smaller then my card base and created a fun summer scene!

I created two big water splatters on my background using the Splat it and Splotch Stencil from Clearly Besotted and Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. I then stamped the cute little piglets having fun in the sun and the water, coloured them with Copic Markers and added them to my card with dimensionals. The fun text is from the stamp set as well!

Stampin with Liz Design: Beach Babes Card!

Hi my crafty friends! I know, I'm sharing another Summer card today! We can do one more can't we? There where just so many fun summer stamp sets out there this year, lol, but they are fun aren't they? Today's card is created with the Beach Babes stamp set from Hello Bluebird!

Hoi allemaal! Ik weet het, vandaag deel ik nog een zomer kaartje! Eentje nog moet kunnen toch? Er waren dit jaar gewoon zoveel leuke zomer stempelsets, haha, maar het blijft leuk! Voor mijn kaart van vandaag heb ik de stempelset Beach Babes van Hello Bluebird gebruikt!

I used again a long, small card base for my card, I just love these sizes! I created another fun beach scene for this card. I masked the sides to keep a gorgeous white border around my scene. I then added the beach, sea and sky by using a blending tool and Ranger Distress ink in the colours Antique Linen, Salty Ocean and Tumbled Glass.

Ik ben weer voor een lange, smalle kaart basis gegaan. Ik houd wel van dit formaat! Dan heb ik de zijkanten afgeplakt met masking tape om ze mooi wit te houden om dan het strand, de zee en de lucht met een blending tool en Ranger Distress Oxide inkt in de kleuren Antique Linen, Salty Ocean en Tumbled Glass aan te brengen.

I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the fun beach piggy's! They are so cool! I added them to my card using dimensionals. I stamped the text on black cardstock with Versamark ink, sprinkled this with white embossing powder and heat setted this with a heat tool. I added the text to my card also by using dimensionals!

Ik  heb de leuke varkentjes vervolgens gestempel, gestanst en gekleurd, ze zijn zo cool! Ik heb ze op mijn kaart aangebracht met dimensionals. Ik heb de tekst gestempeld met Versamark inkt op zwart papier en deze bestrooid met wit embossing poeder. Hierna heb ik dit geheel verhit met een heat tool en de tekst ook aangebracht op mijn kaart met dimensionals!
