Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenge!

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at CAS on Friday Challenges! This challenge's theme is Snow! We rarely have snow in the winter, but for me it's the first thing I think about when I think of winter, so I thought this theme would be fun! I created this fun card with the amazing Merry Pigs stamp set from Hello Bluebird!

You can enter this challenge worldwide, create a fun project with a snow element in it and remember to keep it CAS (Clean And Simple)! I started this card with a white card base and added a front panel, which I diecutted with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle die from My Favorite Things. I blended a fun background on there, using blue Distress Oxide inks from Ranger and off course added snow on my sky using a white gel pen!

I stamoed the text Merry Christmas just underneath my blended part and then stamped the fun images from the stamp set. I fussy cutted the images and coloured them with Copic Markers before adding them on to my card using dimensionals. Hope to see a lot of fun entries for this challenge, hope to see you there!

Stampin with Liz Design: Merry Pigs Card!

Hi there crafters! Are you ready for some piglet fun today? I created a fun Christmas card with certainly just the cutest little pigs! You can find these sweeties in the Merry Pigs stamp set from Hello Bluebird stamps!

Hoi allemaal! Zijn jullie klaar voor een paar schattige varkentjes? Ik heb voor vandaag een leuke kerstkaart gemaakt met de schattigste biggetjes ooit, je vind deze leukjes in de Merry Pigs stempelset van Hello Bluebird stamps!

This set is just a lot of fun, who doesn't like Christmas piglets? I created a fun snow scene with a nice, dark blue snowy sky for these cute stamps. I love blending a background on my cards, which I like to do with the Distress Oxide ink from Ranger. They are certainly my favorite inks for this job, they blend so well!

Deze set is gewoon super leuk, wie houd er nu niet van kerst biggetjes? Ik heb een leuke sneeuw achtergrond voor deze stempeltjes gecreëerd met een mooie donkerblauwe lucht. Ik houd er zeker van om een achtergrond te blenden voor mijn kaarten, waarbij ik graag gebruik maar van Distress Oxide inkt van Ranger, absoluut mijn favoriete inkt voor dit klusje!

I coloured the fun images with Copic Markers, to make them come alive! So nice to see them change from a black and white image to real piggies! I so hope they will not freeze with no clothes on, lol! I added the fun text 'This little piggy says..  Merry Christmas! ', don't you just love it when a stamp set comes with a fun, matching to the images, text? I sure do!

Ik heb de afbeeldingen gekleurd met Copic Markers om ze tot leven te wekken. Heerlijk om de zwart-witte afbeeldingen te zien veranderen in echte varkentjes! Ik hoop wel dat ze niet bevriezen zonder kleren, haha! Ik heb de tekst 'This little piggy says..  Merry Christmas! ' aangebracht, zo leuk wanneer een stempelset een leuke, grappige tekst heeft die helemaal bij de afbeeldingen past, ik houd er wel van!
