MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there everyone! Welcome to our weekly new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! Every wednesday we have a fun new sketch up for you! Join us to have a change at winning a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun card for you today with the You Keep Me Afloat stamp set!

I choose a white card base in A2 size for this card and then added a front panel. As you know I love adding these, especially when they have a nice stitched border! I used a white piece of cardstock for this front panel which I diecutted with the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax.

This sketch is really a fun one, I can't wait to see what you guys will create! I used masking tape to divide my card into squares, according to the sketch, and then blended them with three different colours of blue ink.

I added loads of splatters on the squares and then removed the masking tape. I then stamped, diecutted and coloured the adorable images from the stamp set and added them to this fun, playful card using dimensionals!

Create cards, layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week's sketch for a change to win a gift voucher at My Favorite Things! You can add your project to the InLinkz that are up at the MFT Stamps Blog! Good luck!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

MFT Stamps - Sketch Challenge!

Hi there crafters! Welcome at a new Sketch Challenge at MFT Stamps! We have a fun new challenge up for you this week, join us for a change to win a $ 50 gift Voucher at MFT Stamps! I created a fun sea card using the amazing You Keep me Afloat stamp set!

I started this card with a white card base in A2 size and then added a front panel, for which I diecutted a piece of Sno Cone Cardstock with the largest die from the A2 Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax Die-namics. I created a wavy background on this piece by using the Thick and Thin Background stamp, Versamark ink and white embossing powder.

I then added a smaller rectangle, for which I diecutted a piece of white cardstock with a smaller rectangle die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax. I just love these dies, they give such a great border to your rectangles!

I then blended a piece of white cardstock with two colours of blue ink, to create a sea where this adorable bunny is fishing! I added some waves by using the Scallop Stripe stamp set. I fussy cutted the waves and added my wavy piece with dimensionals to my rectangle. I added the adorable critters from the stamp set and the fun sentiment to finish this card with!

MFT Stamps - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #551!

Hi there crafters! Welcome to a new sketch challenge at MFT Stamps! We have a fun new sketch up for you guys this week! I created a card in blue colours with the amazing You Keep Me Afloat stamp set to inspire you with!

I started this card with a card base in A2 size created from Caribbean Sea Cardstock. I then added a front panel, which I diecutted with a stitched rectangle die from white cardstock. To match the sketch, I added loads of banners in different colours of blue cardstock.

I used different banner dies to diecut my coloured cardstock with. I love the diecutted look, so much better then fussy cutting or using a slicer. You can find the items I used listed below at the end of this post.

I added a striped piece above the banners and then added loads of splatters to them, using white paint. I then stamped the cute fishing bunny from the stamp set, just catching a small adorable fish, diecutted them and coloured them with Copic Markers. To finish this card with, I added the fun sentiment from the set on black cardstock.
