My Favorite Things May Release Countdown Day 4!

Hi there everyone! Just 4 more days left until the new My Favorite Things release will be available! Are you all ready to meet some more amazing new items? I created an adorable slimline card for today, using the new super cute stamp set Crafty Companions!

In this big amazing new stamp set you'll find all sorts of crafting critters! And don't we all love to craft! Next to loads of adorable critters, there are 8 fun sentiments in this set!

I started my card with a slimline card base, which I created from Summer Splash Cardstock. I then added a front panel, which I diecutted from white cardstock with a stitched rectangle die from the Slimline Starter set! Just an amazing size to use, you can portray so many of these cute characters on a a slimline card! 

I wanted this card to be a one layer card, always a bit of a work, but so worth it! I stamped the cute images I wanted up front first. On this card that means the wool basket and the paint tubes. I then masked these images to start stamping my second row of stamps, so they would fall right behind my first images. In the end I masked them al, to blend a fun, subtle background using Summer Splash and Limelight ink. I added some splatters on to my blended part and then coloured all the cuties with Copic Markers!
