Stampin with Liz Design: CAS on Friday Challenges!

Hi everyone! Today it's time for a new challenge at CAS on Friday Challenges! It was my turn to pick a topic and I choose a fun Birthday theme! You can never have too many birthday card in stock, right? I hope you all are safe and maybe enjoying some crafty time! Crafting will get us through social distancing!

For this challenge you can enter with a CAS card, which means Clean and Simple! I started my card with a white card base in A2 size (which is apapproximately 4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and diecutted a fun front panel with a Scalloped Stiched Die and then created a fun scene on this panel. I blended a small part of my background with  blending tool and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink from Ranger.

I then stamped the fun image from the adorable Birthday Scene stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh and fussycutted this gorgeous image! I coloured these fun critters and there balloons with Copic Markers in soft colours. They are so cute! I added my image on to my front panel with dimensionals and added some sequins to make it more festive! I added my finished front panel on to my card base with dimensionals as well. I do love cards with some dimension!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time! Stay safe you all!

Stampin with Liz Design: Sea Friends Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design Blog Post! Hope you all had a great weekend! Today I'd like to share a cool underwater scene with you all! Summer makes me think of the sea, so I created a fun card with the amazing stamp set Sea Friends from Pretty Pink Posh!

Hoi allemaal!

I didn't use an A2 size card today, but used a fun card size that is about 19 x 17 centimeters, scored at 8,5 centimeters. Love this size! I masked the sides of this card to leave a white border and starting working on the sea bottom and water. I blended the sand part with Crumb Cake ink from Stampin' up and the water part with Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress ink from Ranger. I added some dots and shades to the sand with Copic Markers.

I then added some waterdrops to the whole, stamped and diecutted the fun critters. I coloured them with Copic Markers and added them to my card using dimensionals. I stamped the text You're Super in Every Way from an Mft stamp set with Versamark ink on black cardstock, sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat setted it with a heat tool. I also added the text with dimensionals on to my card!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Birthday Scene Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new Stampin with Liz Design blog post! Are you in for a super sweet card? I love to combine the color pink with blue, I used this color combination before, it is just so sweet! For today's card I used the gorgeous little stamp set Birthday Scene from Pretty Pink Posh!

Hoi allemaal!

I started my card by creating a card base in A2 size. I like using thicker white cardstock for my base. I then created a front by diecutting white cardstock with the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die-namics from Mft. I then blended this with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. For the bottom I used two pieces of blended paper with Spun Sugar Distress ink, that I diecutted with the Stitched Cloud Edges from Mft.

Then I stamped the cute image from the stamp set. This image is actually just one piece and so cute! I then diecutted it with my Scan 'N Cut machine from Brother. I love this machine! I then coloured the image with Copic Markers and added it to my card with dimensionals!

I'd like to send this card in to the running challenge at Simon Says Challenges, where this week's theme is Stitched! Well, I just love stitched items! Thanks for watching, hope to see you next time!

Stampin with Liz Design: Sea Friends Card!

Hi everyone! Welcome to a new blog post today! Just a few weeks ago we visited Sea Life, our kids love their fish tanks, so I thought it would be really fun for them to visit Sea Life. When I saw the stamp set Sea Friends from Pretty Pink Posh, I just couldn't resist! I'm really enjoying all the new brands for me, got to say I love this brand, can't wait to order more!

Don't you just love these friendly sea creatures? I'm so in love with them! I started this card with a white card base from thick cardstock in A2 size. I added a blue and white striped design paper from the Sugar & Spice Paper Pad from SugarPea Designs. The paper from this pad is already in A2 size, love it! A perfect match!

Although I love this paper already, I was stubborn enough to add some spatters to it with black ink. Lol, can't denie it, I do love spatters! I then added a panel created with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Scalloped Frames Die-namics from My Favorite Things. I diecutted this from Sahara Sand Cardstock from Stampin' Up. I lifted this panel from my card base by using Foam Adhesive Strips.

I stamped and diecutted (using my Brother Scan 'N Cut machine, but of course there are coordinating framelits for this set you can use) the sea images. I love stamping on Solar White Neenah Cardstock. For me this is my favorite paper to color with Copic Markers on. After colouring them, I added them with dimensionals on to my card, except for the sea plants, they are added with double sided adhesive tape right on my front. I added a tekst using a piece of white cardstcok that I blended with Peacock Feathers Distress ink from Ranger. To give this card a bit extra, I added some sequins to it!

Thank you so much for watching today, hope to see you next time!
